These boards are exceptional and should be promoted as a line for experienced sailors not just intermediates. They plane very early, are fast, handle chop better than most, and gybe brilliantly. JP should promote them more widely. They are boards for intermediates to experts. After 30 years of sailing and racing and owning 40+ boards, my new Magic Ride Pro 111 would have to rate in the 5 most impressive boards I've owned.
Paul I could not agree more with what you say, I also have been sailing for about 30 years and I rate the magic ride as one of the best boards I have ever been on,

What board did you compare with (equivalent from other brands)?

Hi Rob,
I won't get into a debate about makes and models of boards. Too often in these forums contributors provide opinions without any, or much experience. My opinion is based on extensive experience, 30 years windurfing, and racing, much of that sponsored by Sailworks and Mistral, writing and testing for magazines in the 90s, and talking to top windsurfers, here and overseas. I have owned 40-50 boards and probably tried double that. My only comparative comment was that Magic Rides handle chop better than most. The rest was personal comment based on experience. Brand loyalty in windsurfing is a good thing for feedback through the dealers back to manufacturers, but on these forums it's a waste of space.

With your experience Geoff that comment really means something. You were always better in the waves and in ocean conditions than me.
