Hi,

I just sold my old JP Super Sport 68 model 2009 and now I'm looking for a new board. I wanted to buy something slightly more user-friendly when going fast through chop and jibe.

There is one almost new JP Super Sport 122 available and I'm very interested in it but there is no option to try it out. It is LTX version and model year 2021. it has been used only a few times so it is really like new. Has two scratches on the surface from the harnes. Probably from climbing on it.

Does anybody have experience with how new boards compare to older ones? Is the new Super Sport a good choice or should I rather look for the Super Ride. I intend to ride 7,8 m2 and 6,6 m2 3-cam sails with the board.

Thanks for the input.

Best regards,
Gregor

Hope you decided already.
76 width improves early planing and ease of jibing, while hurting in 20+ knot conditions and bouncy chop.
If you are 90 kg in weight, it's versatile. If you're sub 80kg, it's a great lightwind, flat water board.
