This fin cover is the biz, the ****, the shizzel the KWAN !

Managed to mis-place/leave my mast shim in the shed in my excitement to get to the beach following the forecast of a little bump in swell, cross off conditions at Fingal and some noticeable movement in the trees.

McGuyvered a mast shim using two of JP 7.0 fin covers.

Worked a treat. Got me out on the water and boom was solid as a rock.

Actual session was absolute rubbish.
I've been told that the actual fins are only good for throwing at someone who is attempting to steal your car.

All up, the covers were the only redeeming feature of an otherwise bleak session... so applying the glass is half full principal, those fin covers are the real deal !

Sometimes the most primitive method works best.

The leg straps of most harnesses come loose when out sailing. I tie a knot at the end of both clips.

Same with the harness strap that goes through the bar. Mine slowly but surely comes loose.

I have it attached to one clip only at each side. I have tied a knot both sides of the straps ---and now must slip in and out out of my harness!
