Anyone got any comments on this sail. I am thinking of buying a 2006 6.5m for general freeriding. Does it have the legs to keep up with a pryde v8?

We don't sell Sailworks, but I know that they are a very good free-ride sail. The Retro started the change in the no cam sails.
Being a no cam means that their characteristics are different to the V8.
If you want a real competitor to the pryde, then you should look at the Tushingham Lightning. All magazine tests put it higher, and it costs less!!!!!!!!!!!

Cheers.

Thanks Jez,

I appreciate your comments. Is the Tushingham Lightning a cam or no cam sail? I'm guessing a cam sail. I'll search theier web and check it out thank you.

sailed yesterday on 2 retros, a 2004 7.0 and a 2001 6.0...the 04 model was beautful, i weigh 70 kilos and was powered up on my 5.4 2005 revolution, but when i jumped on my mates retro i wasnt really overpowered at all....it was a bit big for me prob but i still held it down. if i was looking for a go fast sail for light days i would definately get the retro, awesome sail....still no match to the revolution though
