Hi, has anybody have some experience with Hurricane slalom fins. Maybe I will buy SRd 34 cm to be used with IS86 and 6.5 and SRa42 to be used with x-fire 112 and 7.5.

I had a 50 cm formula Hurricane fin and was pretty satisfied. How do they rate against well known fins like C3, Select or Deboichet?

Hi Marin,

don't go for the old fins but check out the newer SS (speed slalom ) and SR2 (slalom race) fins. The fins finish is just excelent. Take a look to the below picture.

Currently I'm using SR2 50cm (Vapor 9.2), SR2 45cm (Vapor 8.4), SS42 (GTX Race 7.5) in my iSonic 121 with ~80kg. The SR2 has pretty much power and lifts the board very gentle. The SS provide more downwindspeed and control in overpower conditions.

I can't compare the fins to C3, Select or Deboichet because I've never used them but I bought recently some Sonntag Fins for my smaller Slalom board because Otmar seems to be quite busy, besides this SonntagFins where sligthly cheaper.
However, you won't go wrong with Hurricane fins, just call Otmar and make sure that he can manufacture your fins in time.
