1)Can anybody tell me what the height of the top of the boom cutout on the mast sleeve of a 2012 Blade 6.7m2 is?
2)Does the 2009 and 2010 S-1 "freestyle" 6.3m2 have tube battens? Does the 2012 Blade 6.7m2?
Tried the contact page on the Severne website, but no response so far.

I have the 2010 S-1 6.3, it has tube battens, it actually says freestyle on the sail itself instead on Wave/Freestyle like the smaller ones. I would not use that sail in the surf, in conditions where I might get wiped out, not worth the hassle of replacing the battens.
Ben:
Thank you for the reply. I am a huge fan.
I mainly freestyle. I am sooo grateful for the S-1 6.3 and 5.9.
So, I guess 3 of the 5 battens are tube battens in the freestyle S1s. I love the feel of these sails, nothing else comes close, and the extra 15mm in the boom cutout is very much appreciated. I am 6'6".
I had a 2010 Maui Sails Ghost XT 6.7, but I was never happy with it. The draft was unstable in marginal gusty conditions, and it felt too big with the long 202 boom for freestyle rig flips. The boom cut out was too low also, and although I thought about modifying it, I sold it instead.
I think I will just stick with the S1 6.3 as my biggest sail, and concentrate on my light wind freestyle in 15-17 mph winds when the normal sized guys start to plane. I need to learn to be more patient in these winds.
