GA have their new 2015 sails up if anyone's interested. Only posting as I was looking for specs on a sail last night and found the new site.
I'm not sure if Gear Reviews is the right place to post this but here it is;
ga-windsurfing.com/
Sadly GA is another company that doesn't seem to think the weight of a sail is of any importance. Perhaps it's just me but I can't find any reference to the weight on the web site.

Maybe your weight is the most important thing...![]()

yup ... at 6.4 my weight is constantly a problem... that's why I need to use large sails ... that's why the weight of a large sail is everything.
I weighed my sails last week. I choose sails now more on lack of weight than on performance.
You can really feel the extra weight particularly in transitions.
Code Red 5,6---4.8kg
Maui TR9 5.5m---5 5kg
North Warp 5.7 2011----5.3kg
R3 6.2----6.2kg
NP RS Slalom 2012 7.0----6.0kg
The difference between the Code Red and the Warp is only 500g but pick them up and the difference feels huge!
A really light,stiff boom can make a big difference too.
I stay away from carbon extensions and super light 100 per cent masts as I'm not made of money
Have one 100 percent mast,a X9 Wave 430 that has thicker walls and at 1.8 kg a bit heavier.
