The Forward WIP is by far the best west I have ever used w. many pocket options and protections, and it provides an excellent freedom of movement. The MiniMotion does not need any presentation..
This is not a review of the Forward WIP 50N Impact Vest, or of the accessories I bought with it ("Impact Vest Spare Knife" and "Safety Mirror Whistle Kit"..), or of the MiniMotion GPS itself, but on how to make life easy for a GPS surfer..
My solution:
The MiniMotion is always mounted on the left shoulder strap and is never taken off,- it is even recharged mounted on the impact west.. This is possible due to the elastic GPS-strap.
Mounted on the shoulder strap the GPS will always have a clear view to the satellites..

When I first looked at the photo I thought you were wearing the charger as well plugged into some portable battery or something![]()

Oh, I hope that my post isn't regarded as an April Fool's joke..
The "easy way" is to surf without the charger fixed on the shoulder strap! ![]()
Fortunately the battery of the MiniMotion can hold on for many hours but of course, if you are going to do an Atlantic crossing, a portable battery could come in handy! ![]()
