I have only been sailing for about a year now and all my gear is about 13 years old, I lashed out and bought a new 7.5 ncx that was out on clearance and had my first sail with it last weekend. The conditions weren't the best, was very gusty but I must say I was very impressed with it! It liked to be kept quite upright but never felt like it wanted to catapult me, had grate low down pull and handled the gusts very well. Once up and going it was unreal , good speed and easy to handle even in the gusty conditions . Can't wait to get it back on the water!! Only problem now is I think i'll have to upgrade the rest of my kit
