Finally had my first blast on my new board.
Firstly Thanks Dennis at WIND SURF SNOW for the top advice
Yesterday was a real high wind rough water test of the 99 I would normally use a smaller board and smaller sail in such high wind conditions but the Falcon is fantastic it just sits on the water and does not fly away which was so impressive with a 6.4m in very windy conditions. The board has a fantastic mid range as well and was very early planning for me.
Honestly it is so nice when your board does not take heaps of energy to keep it on the water when so loaded up and trimming at the correct angle makes all the difference. This board was easy to wind up and willing to run deep off the wind into some angry chop it just remained very stable and predictable. The Fanatic Falcon 99 is a top GPS board that I would recommend to anyone who is in the market for a fast comfortable speed machine.
Gybes were fantastic as well and all in all highly recommended. Bring on the next gun fight
Cheers Russ
Yeah that board looked great on the water, wow it was windy!!!
I was watching you on Saturday, very impressed.
I have actually ordered one from the Tasmanian Fanatic dealer, Damien at Jay Sails in Lauderdale ,
Currently I have the 89 Falcon so this will be a nice addition to the quiver
