Hi,

Has anyone tried out the 2010 Ezzy Infinity or heard of a review (or have any decent pics)?
I was thinking about buying a 2009 8.5 but might hold off till the 2010 models become available.

Cheers Chris

If they're anything like the 2009 model, they will be totally amazing...

I still can't believe the range and useability of mine. Hard to imagine Ezzy improving it.

These are the only two photos I can find at the moment. Ezzy are a bit slow to get their gallery happening, but thats ok they probably have better things to do like going sailing.

I have been loving my 7.5 infinity this year, it seems to be a good balance of performance and comfort for freeriding.

Nebbian how do you think you infinity compares speed wise with some of the other 2 cam sails on the market?

cheers chris

Hi Chris,

To be honest, I think that the sail is a very small part of the speed equation...

Experience and ability is king, followed by board width, fin and tuning your equipment. Then comes rider weight, determination, and then I'd rank sail.

Then again, I'm not a fast sailor so take my advice with a good pinch of salt

As for comparing the Ezzy with other 2 cam sails, I haven't tried many other brands, but of the ones I've tried, it is far and away the best. This could also be partly because it rigs on skinnies, while most other cammed sails don't.

All I know is that with an adjustable outhaul system on this sail, I got a really amazing sweet spot where the sail feels comfortable. And if I can feel comfortable when sailing, this will make me sail longer and enjoy my day more. I'd definitely buy another one when the time comes to upgrade

I just sold my 05 8.5 Infinity with a tinge of sadness (it was being neglected though as my CRed 8.8 superseded it). I have to agree with Ben and say these are very comfortable sails with an enormous range (+ they're literally indestructable). Ezzy definately knew what he was doing many years ago and hasn't overly changed the design just for the sake of change.

Thanks for the opinions,

I have been finding the 7.5 is comfortable and seems faster than my old rig, and is according to my gps, it is also a heap more comfortable.

I think the infinity is a good sail for my stage which is I have been returned for the sport for about 3 years now and am sailing ok but am still a bit hard on my gear having some untidy falls.

I was keen on the infinity because i liked the attitude ezzy takes towards their manufacturing staff.

Cheers Chris
