Yes, I had one of those, there seems to have been a bad batch in Oz, Ian Fox was very good to assist to replace
yes this happened to me also , and i know a few others over here in holland who had the same problem!
I've got a few C3 Venoms including a 42 but they look nothing like this Drake, are they same design but different factories, just wondering 
Yes Designed by C3 but not made by them.
The Drakes versions are not G10 like the C3 ones.
They are a laminated glass fin, dont know what kind of resin. My first 42 split in half after clipping the bottom, the second delaminated after hitting a sand bank. Ian has replaced it with a C3 Venom which I love ofcourse 
They have obviously had some factory issues, the fins seemed to perform OK.
