Just wanted to share a great experience.

As a 100+ kg sailor, and the sometimes fickle winds of Melville Water. I wanted to look at a larger slalom board (150L) or perhaps a formula. But there's not a huge range... I got in contact with James at Carbon Art. After discussing a Formula but wanting more flexibility James offered to do a custom Slalom. This is something CA are getting into. With the advantage of CAD James was able to take the CA slalom shape and scale it up. After placing the order I received a 3D QTime movie of my board that afternoon! We made a couple of tweaks and then it was off to the CNC for shaping. 6 weeks later (great turnaround given the Christmas break) I am now the proud owner of a Custom CA Slalom 90.

Worth considering...

Fickle winds of Melville Water.... FICKLE WINDS !
Surely you jest ?

Try being of a similar weight and based on the east coast of Oz.

I have just put in an order for my new 'all rounder' to maximize water time.
