I've had two moderate wind sessions on my new Chinook RDG 150-200 Carbon boom. This boom is for my 5.3 wave sail, and possibly my 4.7 wave sail.

I like it
. The boom is very thin and light (RDG = reduced diameter grip). It feels very nice. The tail clips feels a bit cheap when locking the tail to a given extension setting. The loop-n-go setup on the tail is 45deg angled. No big deal, it does the job. It's just a bit different to other loop-and-go booms. The tail has a handy spooler to stow access outhaul line. Very handy. Apologies for crappy photo:

And the reason I got another Chinook: the extra long clamp. The extra length distributes forces between the clamp and the mast more evenly than shorter clamps. Another blurry pic:
I am really happy with boom.
nice ...how do you find the shape ..for gybing .rather than rounded.
No, don't notice any difference on any types of gybing. I'm trying to nail my heli-tacks at the moment, and found it slightly different feel (grabbing the head) going from my normally used moncoque to this boom, but that's about it.
