Ricardo Campello has stated that he will be leaving Neilpryde/JP, wonder who will pick him up?
Neilpryde have lost two of their best sailors now, in Campello and also Kauli Seadi who went to HSM.
From Campello's facebook:
"After 11 or 12 years sponsored by Jp boards and Neilpryde sails I sadly Announce that I won't be riding them anymore for 2014 . it is a very sad news for me but I have learned a lot with them and maybe now its time for a change , Still Don't know what Im going to do next year but I will try as much as I can to be on the water !I will give more details soon RC - Despues de mas de 10 anos patrocinado por Jp y Np tristemente les informo que para el 2014 no estare Usando Jp y neilpryde , he aprendido bastante con ellos y quizas es hora de un cambio , Aun no se que hare el ano que viene pero tratare de seguir compitiendo y lograr mi sueno que es ser campeon mundial en Olas! mas detalles pronto RC"

Doesn't sound like it was his decision. The bloke is such a talent and ambassador for NP - when i think of RC I think of NP. Wonder WTF the NP marketing guys are up to 'letting' two of their big names go. Tough times perhaps, or maybe focusing on some younger up and comers instead

They have Koester, they probably won't need another high profile wave sailor for a while.
Albeau and Koester - beat that!

I'd say you're right, especially after reading some of the comments on the post. I know that Kauli left them out of choice though because NP wanted him to do the whole tour and he just wanted to do the DTL events.

But I do remember a time where between RC, Seadi, Swift and Koster they would absolutely dominate the podium. I wouldn't be surprised if they poach somebody like Muso, TT or Browne.

Pretty sad really. To be with a brand for so long and be such a good ambassador for windsurfing with his crazy stunts. I can understand Kauli but this one has surprised me. Must be a combination of a few things I would say. His results were not even that bad???

Koster and campello both now off pryde. Yep severne looks like they've snapped up koester for sure. My bet for campello is tabou/gaastra

Would love to see Campello at Gaastra, I doubt they could afford him with with Muso , TT and Ojeda just to name a few.
Saw this pic, so maybe Goya/Quatro:

Leon Jamaer
Antoine Martin
Jules Denel
