Just picked up my new 2019 Fanatic Falcon boards.
Below is the all-new Falcon 106 rocket ship. This board will be great with a 7.0 - 7.7 combo without having to sail with quite as much board as the 115.
Specs for the Fanatic Falcon 106
Width 68cm | Length 235cm | Volume 106L. Can run up to an 8.4m sail.

Below is the new Fanatic Falcon 140
Specs for the 140 are: Width 85cm | Length 228cm | Volume 140L. Can run up to a 10.0m sail. Foil Ready!

Thanks for posting Steve. They look like great performers and look forward to getting some, particularly that 106. Perfect size, and fills the big gap between the 115 and 98, 2 very different boards from my experience. Not in love with the grey, but its growing on me.
Nice, but cutouts on 140 looks too deep and this makes planning in the jibes very difficult. The same problem had RRD and JP two years ago and that was fixed later with reducing them
Hi Hogar, Not sure what the problems were with RRD, however this board gybes fantastic. Everyone from PWA riders down to recreational sailors who own the 136 will all tell you how great a board it is. The 140 just has a couple more refinements from last year. Should definitely try and jump on one and have a go at your local spot and see.
I like the Sargent strips ...
Sargent last year.... corporal this year. ![]()

Probably secretive because the release date is supposed to be 1st September.

More of a silver than a grey Steve.![]()
Here is the Fanatic Falcon Foil 175 also.

Typo on the volume. Should be 175L :)
Got the new 2019 FF106 yesterday and got a couple of hours on it today. Powered up on the 7.0 and the board felt awesome. Looks closer to 114 than 98 in size but on the water maybe feels somewhere between the two.

Because there isn't a photo of this board in this thread yet, here's my Falcon 130. I've only sailed it once in light conditions with the 8.4 Warp but it feels quicker than the 129 both to plane and in a straight line. Definitely easier to rail, maybe a tad more technical to gybe than the 129.

Will this one be used with a fin too? Do foil specific boards really need cutouts?

You need cut outs to reduce the wetted surface to get you planning quicker, then onto the foil quicker.

Interesting, I'm curious in how this board compares to the 140. For example, what is the width 30cm from the tail? What finsize did you use with the 8,4? Do you have a picture of the bottom of the board? Thanks in advance.

Will get a photo of her bottom for you. My understanding is that the 130 is intended as a light wind board for the lighter riders, so it's used in the same conditions as the 140. The recommended fin sizes seem to be the same. I've used it with 46cm in very light wind and with a 44 the rest of the time. On the old 129, I used a 42 once or twice but haven't tried the 130 with that fin yet.
In a similar vein, Fanatic recommends the 106 for lighter riders as a medium board and the 115 for the heavier guys (and girls).
Has anyone compared the Falcon 140 tho the Falcon 136 from the last 2 years? Does the 140 plane earlier?

...and how's the 140 high end comfort and control? What kind of fins it best suits?
Would like to read something also about the 115. Feeling?
