Just took delivery of this little ripper:
2014 Starboard Quad 92
(I have the 2013 version for sale cheap, pm if interested)
Looks Great. Very nice graphics and the shape looks like it would get up and go quickly. Just get rid of the footstraps. They are really difficult to get out of for me.
....that looks sweeeeet - starboard got the best looking boards this....erm....next year!
Whats the changes with the current / 2013 92?
And the big question - how does that translate on the water?!
....gonna be a toss up if this new Starboard 92 or the Quantum 95 gets my cash this Autumn - love to hear how the 92 performs! (eg how loose / grippy it is - the Quantum rides pretty free rather than planted - which i like)
Got 77 quad for sale send us a pm had a quick blast on the 92 Nuevo today omfg finally found the best 90 ltr wave board planes On a pigeon fart loose and ffffast:):):)
..is it me or does the starboard and new fanatic quad ****look**** similar?

little concave
Caveat - i havent seen them in flesh - hope to this weekend!

I had mine out on a few decent days this week.
Day 1 powered up 5.7, cross on beachie.
Day 2 Just powered 5.7, Small cross off point.
Day 3 powered up 5.3, 2 to 3ft cross off point.
This board rocks, you can drive it hard off the bottom with absolute confidence and jam off the top. It will release off the top with control. It feels a little faster than last years board, and possibly planes a little earlier. I don't think that changes are massive over last year, a little more board speed maybe, and better planning ability. It turns hard and has heaps of drive. Will sit in the pocket well.
