First impressions...Deep dish even for a 93 ltr, Rounded deck at both set of foot straps. ( the older ones had a flat deck ) A fair bit of vee and concave each side. Should handle the chop a lot better than the pure slalom.
I'll add more when we get to ride it.
Great fin..C3 venom![]()
I rode the Futura 101 at Queens Beach today with sails sizes 7.5, 7 and 6 well powered to over powered. Water state was very washing machinish. Found the board very easy to sail, and it gybed quite well. Very easy to find the back strap when the pressure is on. Good speeds considering the water state, and when sailing on a broad reach, could easily lock into a typical speed stance. The only thing I found that the balance point when sailing can be a little far forward and I did go over the front once, but I expect that you would get use to this. Thanks very much to Marko and Ian from Auswind for giving me a chance to ride this board.
It looks very nice indeed and comes with a lovely fin.
I have a 2009 red F93 from and also a 2011 WC F111. Love the colouring. As anyone compared the 2011 model with its predecessor? If so what are your findings?
