Hi wise ones, a mate is looking at getting a 2009 Fanatic Eagle 100 HS and asked my opinion which I haven't got a clue about, never seen one. He's after a fast freeride so I mentioned the Futura 100L but he has found a better deal on an Eagle. I'm guessing the Eagle will be fine, he's replacing a dead Mistral Flow which is about a 100 years old.
So if you or a mate has one are you happy with it.

Another thing to consider is the finbox. Futuras are Tuttle and I think just about every other freeride board is powerbox. Does your mate have a collection of fins already?
Na just the old Mistral, I'd prefere he got one that took a Tuttle, more choice among mates up here if he needs to borrow anything but he's got away for years with one fin anyway.
I've also suggested a Carbon Art Freeride, doesn't cost much more and made in our own backyard, but then I'm biased because I love my CA Slalom
