I've just received the sail. Please, any info for rigging and tunning. I looked the specs and rigged it. Looks odd too, much leach looseness.
Mast 460 Powerex ZFree 75%. With less DH looks much better.

One thing that throws some crew on the rigging of the gator is that The gator will have some 45 degree wrinkles in the sail (going up)between the clew and the mast sleeve.
These wrinkles will completely dissappear as soon as the sail is under any load (ie. filled with a little wind) - This is just part of the advanced shaping in this sail that delivers a softer feel in light wind (to deliver the spring to pump the sail up on to the plane) which grades off to a firmer tension in the sail as the load (wind ) increases to deliver excellent top end control.
If there is alot of leach looseness then i suspect you have over downhauled the sail- this will kill all your bottom end and make the sail usable only in the top end of its wind range.

Here is the wind from last Monday and my first session with Gator7.5 and 110L free ride board. Location is USA local lake and as you can see very gusty. It was one of my best seasons on 7.5, unbelievable. All others were on 6.5 or 6.0. I did not want to change sail at all. Light, smooth, balanced, when overpowered...no problems, jibes nicely, i did a lot jumps ... easy and smooth. Nobody could believe that I sailed non-stop for 4h. One guy told me that I am lying...it is not 7.5 looks smaller then 7.5. When he saw 7.5....how the hell you could sail on 7.5 all day long. I am skinny guy 68kg, no muscles like Terminator. I did not pay much attention on rigging, waiting for sail to stretch a little bit. Tomorrow, I’ll take AUSWIND advice and make 45 from clew to mast sleeve. GREAT SAIL
