Can you please provide some specs on the ST 94 - Size, sail range, weight . Also riding impressions if you've tried it.

I will post dimensions when they arrive later today. I love unwrapping new toys at this time of the year.

So what's the verdict on the new S Types?

Had the S type out at Melville on Monday it was fantastic. In those strong choppy conditions it was exceptionaly well controlled and fast. Took out the Sonic 85 as well which was also great, but a bit more of a handfull as I havn't been sailing much recently.

Jesper Orth "stole" the 93 and hasn't returned it as yet so I guess that is a good indication that the board is OK.

I'm looking forward to having a run on the larger sizes over the next few weeks.

Ian.

The 93 s-type is a wicked high wind board that loves a fast gybe. It has more vee in the tail than last years 104 which makes it feel much looser and more comfortable when maxxed out. For it's size though it planes very early and is very happy with a 6.0 or 6.2 down. The sailors who sailed it in Cocos loved it in the flat water and the larger choppy stuff as the change of footstrap position changes the behaviour quite a bit, so you can adapt it to the conditions.

We have three that all are welcome to try.
