windsurfing gold coast byron bay

where are good places to sail around gold coast to byron bay.

Flat water - I have a Starboard Atomiq 120 and isonic 133 with sails between 6m and 8.2 m - I weigh about 90kgs

Thanks for replying to my post = I will be staying around Pottsville I normally sail at Port Douglas.

The flat water spots on this stretch of coast from North to South are:
- The Broadwater (NE & SE)
- Richmond River, Ballina (SE) - just inside the river mouth
- Clarence River, Yamba (NE) - just inside the river mouth behind the rock wall in the river

You could also try some ocean sailing, if you feel confident, from Wategoes Beach, Byron bay in a NEer
