I'll prob head to Neill tomorrow with my camera then go sailing at golden beach. Would love to get some shots of everyone out.
Wicked day at neill street.
Most people spent the day sailing up at moffs! Best I've seen moffs working for a loooong time! Good to see so many people out. It was a pretty epic day. The banks down at neill street were ok but not as good as they could be. And the reef didn't work at all! Must have been the swell direction?
Anyway a sick day. My day ended with a broken mast at moffs and a looong swim in!
I was gonna dust of the gear and come for a sail today, but had a few things to do and ended up running out of time. Sounds like I missed a good day

yep, just need to turn them into jpegs and upload them.
some are good some not so good. light and distance were big factors. moffats is a long way from the park at neill st. at one point I was thinking of driving around to the headland to take shots but stayed at neill.

Yeah unless you've got a 500mm lens shooting moffs from neill street is like trying to shoot the moon with an iphone 
Neil st took 2 x masts today that I know of, one of them mine , bugger!..
For the record 80/20 carbon masts....some brands need to be held accountable to the truth try 20/80, pretty easy to see when they snap and the insides are all exposed for all to see!
I started a neill st and moffat photos thread to lighten the load on this thread as the photos take too long to load. sorry if I missed getting a snap of you on the day. cracker of a day it was.....

i'd like to try again sometime down the track, not sure how often moffats works for windsurfers but i'd be keen to find some new angles from the headland. most of the shots of moffats were taken from the park you can walk through hto get from neill st to moffats. will keep an eye on SB for next time everyone goes back.
i'm jonesing for a better lens. the image quality of the lens I got drops substantially when the sun goes behind clouds.
