yeah jonesy I'm proud for sure. it's a club that I would fight for at the drop of a hat.

everyone involved should be proud. everyones responsible for getting the club where it is. Kellie, Dylan and Andy have transformed what I started. they gave it new life and grew it further. every member should be proud. they are the club.

you should be proud to.

freerace added another feather to the cap. I think for any club to be alive it needs multiple streams. the one thing that connects all of those streams is the idea that started the club. friends family and social outcomes within windsurfing.

other than starting the club the best thing I ever did for it was to walk away from the committee. it needed new life and got that from you guys. it's been 2 years since I've had anything to do with running the club and look at it now. that's the thing that makes me the proudest. that it became a club that does make a difference.

the thing that seems to be driving me currently is to birth an event that doesn't need windsurfers to organise it each year and can function without industry support as well as add a revenue stream to the club to help with infrastructure.

gotta say I did really enjoy some of those early windwanderers events, wish I had the weekend time/motivation to get along to a few now- it was good sailing new spots, meeting new people and having a sail/yarn/bbq with some old rarely seen friends. Good on all those involved for making an effort and building something that works and has a healthy following.

after you found your old post, I tried searching some things. the fact u can dig up that stuff on google is a bit scary

i found a link to a song I did that was hosted on an account i closed 8 years ago, and the seabreeze page that linked to it in 2006, and it's still there at that ISP??? Do they keep everything that ever existed?
