Sailor is Al McLeod-editor of Aus windsurf mag. Apparently it's was pretty sketchy on the day but he got enough wind for a few waves. It's awesome to see stuff like this (bummer about the kitesurfing call though) happening. A lot of unridden waves out there and it's a testiment to Al for being both ballsy and organised enough to make it happen! Good stuff Al.

I think Shane WEBKE had a few too many hits to the head if he can't tell the difference between kite surfing and windsurfing. Guess he was a great soccer player!
I saw the report am very annoyed he was called a Kite sailor. I once put a story in with our local paper how some of us locals sailed the Nationals the same thing happen the editor came back calling us Kite sailors lucky I sorted it before they printed it. People just don't know I guess.
Also Al did this sailing well over a month ago if it had have been football it would have been on that day.
I read it as the same as them reporting that the great Tchaikovsky was the drummer in the local garage band. 
Only QLD got it wrong. Great exposure all over Australia and even abroad apparently..
