Hey everyone who is interested,
Here is the Notice of Race for the State Titles and a little publicity poster.
We should have a few entries as this year's event isn't run in association with any other class so we have the lake to ourselves and with the World's just around the corner in Perth... If you've recently got yourself a Windsurfer LT but haven't raced in years, come along as it is very casual with a wide range of skill levels.

yep been hectic since mid year.
p.s. nash has a 4m longboard sail now so he and alex can match race. it makes a big difference to upwind legs versus his 3m wave sail
Do you need to be in a club or be insured to do this or can I just rock up?
You need insurance but can arrange that on the day. Someone else might have the best option for you.
This is your best option as you can get a registered sail number as well. However, I know a few people who joined LCSC at registration in order to pay the insurance.

Since Peter Nitschke is away overseas, you won't be able to contact him for early registration.
Anyone who would like to register in advance and get the discount, please PM me instead and I will give you further instructions.

Practice day tomorrow (Saturday 2nd) at Vicky Point, Orana Esplanade 10:30am. Winds are looking good.
Great day. Very challenging without healthy lung's.
Better do some work on the push bike.
Thanks to the guy's for organising. (JInxy, Josh, Frank).
Hi Everyone,
After a 25 year 'break' I have just received my new LT and am looking forward to getting back into sailing and racing, now I have much more free time. I will be coming to the QLD Windsurfer LT State Championships, Lake Cootharaba Nov 23-24 but desperately need a few practise sessions beforehand. I live near Indooroopilly and will be heading for the water this Saturday morning for a test sail - probably Victoria Pt based on the above discussion. Hopefully will see some of you out on the water!
Matt

Welcome Matt and thanks for the invite Tony... The family is camping at the lake with Jinxie so we'll probably do one race at least.
Long range forecast is looking pretty light... hopefully it improves!
