Thumbs Up

Hey, just a quick shout out to be careful on the weekend. The wind looks good but the swell is going to be big. I suspect the bay will be lumpy, the beaches will be huge and with abnormally high tides the current could be strong. Watch out for your mates (and your family I they come down to watch).

That's a really great post J+J, you're right we've gotta look out for each other when the weather gets a bit sporty

Great call JJ.

Everyone gets home safe!

There is quite a good culture of "check on your mate" out of Manly I have noticed...

I for one ALWAY go and get a thumbs up from anyone I see down, or after a big crash.

I have watched Simon from Board Crazy go a LONG way out of his way to check on some downed surfers.

I also saw Darryl actually quit a race and go back to check on someone he saw go over the handlebars hard during the slalom series.

General rule: Get the thumbs up from anyone in the water...no matter how many times you sail past them....things can change, and being OK one minute might not be the same in a few minutes.

Stay safe and rip it up!
