If it comes in (as forecast), Weyba would be my pick. Just jump on the sunshine motorway and get off at Eumarella Drive.

agree weyba should be good. Cootharaba has been delivering a few more knots than anywhere else though since Friday.

Welcome to the Sunny coast mate, Mooloolaba in ESE is no good. Niel st, Caloundra and Mudjimba are good options.

If you're looking for flat, not your usual Blue to sail in, the lakes are great...or Golden Beach...

Wish I could join you but work has commenced.

Enjoy!

Mooloolaba can be good in a Easterly but there can be a bit of a wind shadow in close. Use a bigger board and dredge out a few 100 metres then you are off. Coming back in can be a challenge but at worst you may end up coming in further down the beach. If the wind picks up today I might be down there.

Thanks guys. Had an hour session at Weyba although it was a bit on off. Lovely flat water though. Sailed with Stanley (Andrew).

Good to meet you and put a face to the posts. Not a bad afternoon, a bit up and down to begin with but got better as the afternoon went on.
