Think the Qld B O M should be renamed the "Bureau of 'Maybeology"

Don't know if it's just the local forecast area or what, I have lived in Nth Qld and WA and the BOM forecasts in those areas were normally pretty spot on,
Seems to be SE Qld...any chance of the slightest ripple on the water they call a strong wind warning....or are they just forecasting for what may happen 50km's off shore?

All I know is they are really bad at it, especially in winter!

SE in and S often don't eventuate in winter, treat these forecasts with contempt !
