Train works in SE any tide, KFC NE any tide so long as you've got a small enough fin on a low low, Shearwater S-SSE on outgoing.
Due to complete lack of parking at KFC I sailed just north of Wave Break. Big, empty, flat lagoon that works at top of incoming tide. You can rig and launch from Anglers Paradise. Car park at roundabout on Marine Parade.
KFC picks up a knot, perhaps two more than The Train. Used to sail it when the pontoon was there all by self. 
I've hit the bottom there, hard, and am a bit spooked since. Can't see anything sailing into setting sun.
Massive, outgoing tide tomorrow to match the SE'r. Can get 4 knots tide against wind. Jumpy.
Might go to the movies.
