Just wanted to say I enjoyed the casual impromptu racing this afternoon at Manly. I felt I was doing surprisingly alright on the upwind leg and then seemed to sail away from the wind on the downwind leg! haha It's good to see how others sail/race and work on technique etc... Any tips and feedback is more than welcome!

Sorry I couldn't stay after the first race...

Really enjoyed it as well two phantom 377, one phantom 295, one equipe and 5 rsx. Thanks Pat for keeping the rib after the learn to windsurf finished and setting the course and starting the races was a great afternoon after a really busy morning.

Yes, was really good. Not a bad turn out for a non-racing day. Cheers Pat!

Hi Justin

From now till Christmas racing will be conducted at RQYS each weekend on Saturday starting at 1:30pm

Refer to the following link to the RQYS sailing calendar. It applies to the Sailboard class.

Hey Guys

I'm thinking of getting a raceboard and so I can eventually race it. It is either get a raceboard or go back to racing Lasers.

What board would you guys recommend?

And also it is is possible to store boards at the club? I'm have a bit of trouble storing boards over 3m.

Thanks heaps

Phantom 377 seem to be the go to board at present although there is nothing wrong with other boards including some of the older ones.

Think there is is good mistral superlight package for sale right now in brisbane.

Storage at the club is available ie renting space in the racks but not sure of the cost.

^^Good choice. Also there is a Phantom 380 for sale in Brisbane too for around $1400. There are a few options around at the moment. The crew from RQ or Lake Cootharaba will be able to help you get started.

Thanks guys that is awesome. Cool i can keep it at the club.

A second hand option would be good. I've seen the mistral but is the 380 on this site? I can't find it?

Cheers
