Thanks for the replies. Much appreciated. Will have a look at Sandstone Point. I intend having a go at Lake Cootharaba, although its a bit far to travel on a regular basis.

Keep an eye on the Sandstone Seabreezers thread like Brad says to see when us natives are getting restless and sailing next. When you come up and say g'day, phone numbers get exchanged and sms's usually fly whenever we're sailing and you'll be in the know. Our social/sailing co-ordinator Jeff is currently out injured and we're missing him right now though. There's a good mix of a few of us learning and a few intermediate guys and a few experienced guys who are only too keen to help us learners out so if you put in the time you'll be up and going quickly. We sail Sandstone in a southerly and Turner's Camp in a northerly all on a high tide unless you've got a blocart.
