Hi everybody,
First of all, sorry for my bad English.
I'm a student from the Netherlands and I quitted my study. Next study year, i'm going to start a new study, but from now to than, I'm going to backpack in (east) Australia. My plane arrives in Sydney and after i acclimatize, I want to travel from Sydney to the North, till I'm in Cairns. I hope to find some work in the meantime, to finance my journey. But, it would be nice if it will be possible to windsurf in Australia!
I know that there are a lot of spots in Western Australia, but I'm travelling on the East side. However, my equipment is at home in the Netherlands, so it's not possible to surf with my own (slalom) equipment. So my question is, are there any possibilities to rent (slalom) gear betweeen Sydney and Cairns?Thank you in advance,
Haijo
Hey champ,
The only two places I can think of that might hire gear is Surf connect in Brisbane and Sunshine coast sailboards in Caloundra.
Thanks for your reply Lee!
The windsurfcentre in Brisbane looks very nice. I 'm going to visit it during my trip!
Hallo, laat weten wanneer je voorbij de Sunshine Coast komt en we zullen wel iets regelen. Tot dan, Peter
