x1 Neil Pryde X3 Boom & Harnes Lines
x1 Severne mast base
My son would like his equipment returned if someone has accidentally picked it up from the rigging area from the race board nationals. Feel free to leave it at the learn to windsurfing area (RQYS - Shipping containers) anonymously if required.
The removal of this equipment has somewhat dampened his enthusiasm as a windsurfer.
Given it was his first "national" competition as a youth sailor.
He may just have been turned off the sport altogether now, thanks.

One not happy dad.
A techno boom and a Neil pryde boom were handed to me late Sunday afternoon just before the presentation. They were both left on the lawn by the rigging area. I put them both in the shed where the new techno gear is being stored . The old nb sports shed I am sure if you duck into the club and ask to look you will find the boom. Sorry don't know about the base.
Thanks Camm.
Will look in the other shed.
Should have checked all the gear before we left, usually do - not this time.

Hi Tony
I apologise for the unnecessary angst here. I now remember that Cameron told me that some booms were found and they were put in the old NB shed.
I'm really sorry that I did not remember those details when we were looking for your boom in the containers yesterday.
Looks like we should be able to reunite you with most of your missing gear next Saturday.
Regards
David
To suggest that you son is "turned off the sport" in a public forum because he left is gear laying about might be a bit harsh.
If we stopped sailing when we left something behind we would have all quit years ago! : )
I personally helped four "yoof" sailors carry their gear up the beach after racing as they looked knackered and I saw plenty of the older (ahem) fleet offering help and cheering the younger sailors on over the weekend.
The team at RQ have done amazing work getting youngsters into the sport and to see that many juniors on the water for the nationals, and sailing so well, was amazing.
It might be a useful lesson in checking that your gear is properly packed up, rather than suggesting that someone in this very welcoming and fun fleet is anything other than honest.
