a good crew of people met up at Mooloolaba to wish pete a happy birthday last weekend and to go windsurfing. I've personally known peter for nearly 30 years as had many others there to share the joy. peter is one of the fathers of windsurfing in Australia.
peters contribution to windsurfing in Australia is substantial! he has been shaping and building boards for 40 years in Australia. those of us lucky enough to have thumbed through his scrap book have been given a rare insight into the sport over the last 40 years.
what did peter do for his birthday? took his favourite quad for a spin.

Great photos, great to see Mool's in action, I never think of Pete being that age! He sails better than most a fraction of his age!
Great mile stones, and also helped created a bit more Windsurfing in the media! Page 7...never mind the details in the story, few 'grey' items and facts...2 big stories both in the same month, at this rate windsurfing is almost mainstream!
Happy birthday Peter and thanks from all of us for your commitment and love of the sport. I also would never have guessed you to be 70. It just shows how young and fit the sport keeps you.
Thanks Pete n Beatrix for a great BBQ lunch n fantastic cake! Also was great to catch up with some old wavesailing friends and get some air time at my old local spot. Thanks Justin for the pics
So happy you live and work in the best place in the world Peter. You are the works mate, congratulations!
