Just spent an amazing few days over there ......couldn't help but think off Adder rock beach must be a good spot for wave sailing in a SE blow ?
Anyone sailed it ?
Certainly some flat water spots on the other side that looked good, especially the sand bar at Amity point?
We found a great training ground in a Sea Breeze off Adder beach with this tidal shallow lake for the lad to have a go....nailed it in 15knts on an a i-rig (you know the thing between kites and wing dings!:)) and even on a 100ltr Atom with freestyle fin ... managed to sail back up wind also!
Awesome spot for kids to have a go, safe, shallow no currents and cant get blown away.

I've sailed Deadmans on a sup with a 6m sail. It was cross off and a bit gusty inshore. Adder Rocks in a SEer is very off shore. It would need o be at least ESE.

I think Fyfe has wing dinged at the other western end of Flinders beach in a SEer
Hey! I sail in south - south east pretty much straight off the divers boat launch on home beach. It's cross off and gusty but sick down the line. I've sailed there a few times last summer and it's been surprisingly epic
I've sailed Flinders beach in ESE and E, it was really good. Cross- cross off. One of the only spots I know in QLD with good waves in easterly winds.
Also Jumping pin bar in a NE. Super fun but you need a 4WD and sketchy if you fall in and cant get back up.
thanks for comments , keen to get back there soon and test the potential , too nice a spot to ignore ....pity the Bruce Hwy gets in the way !! :(:(
Sailed there a couple of times in small waves. Nice rollers in the middle of cylinder beach. The turquoise water over a sandy bottom is amazing. On the last run the wind dropped and was swept/swam around Adder Rock. Luckily had company and they helped carry my board back to Kertesz Park.
