Next WindWanderers Social Day - Golden Beach 8 Nov

Hi Folks,

Change of plan for the next WindWanders Social day from Mooloolaba this weekend to Golden Beach on the 8th November.

Further consideration of the parking arrangements at Mooloolaba and suitablilty for all sailors in the club lead to this decision.

Golden Beach on the esplanade between Earnshaw St and McLean will be our location.

As usual, all are welcome, and for any non-members wishing to come along just a gold coin donation for the BBQ.

This location works both in a northerly and southerly direction so fingers crossed for some strong wind on the day. Otherwise longboards and sups work great here on the water if it's lighter.

Packing car myself - put a learner board in for anybody who wants a go

Thanks very much to Jeff for taking the Starboard beginner's board for myself and Josh to have a go and also to Windwanderers for putting on the get together. Not much wind for the experienced guys but spot on for my first ever go at windsurfing and it's sucked me into buying a rig. Thanks very much to both Peter N and Bribie Pete as well for the excellent tips, you guys are all a credit to your sport for helping new people out.
