Bit of a warning & probably been seen already but there is a starpicket about 9" high on edge of creek 100m before where people normally jump off. If tide a bit higher it'd almost be on the sailing line (or plumb on vandos). Hopefully rusted away by spring or i'll fix it.
Also saw a 4 foot bullshark take to the air, was quite impressive but got me thinking- was it chasing or being chased.
that's what i thought initially but it relatively new as wasn't all that rusty, maybe someone had a mooring or something there.
I recently heard of people using star pickets at low tide to mark out the channels. bloody dangerous stuff.
These would be getting used for people sinking their pots at low tide so no one can raid them I'd assume! It's becoming more of a trend on river banks! Grrrrr
Cheers for the warning
and agree on vandos line ![]()
