Lost board in rescue today over at RQ in Waterloo bay. It looked as if it was heading towards Wynnum. If anyone has any information to its whereabouts please call 0417984436.

Wayne, Dave and I searched by boat along the foreshore at Wynnum from the Wynnum Pier (bathing pool) north to Elanora Park at the northern end of the mangrove board walk.
Unfortunately we did not find the board. Bad light stopped the search.
We weren't able to get in too close to shore from the Manly Boat Harbour past Darling Point to the Wynnum Pier for fear of damaging the prop on the boat in the shallows.

Maybe the board was swept by the tide into the Boat Passage, half a kilometre to the north of where we searched to.
How far out from the entrance to the Manly boat harbour were you when the board floated away?
Right next the the second Channell markers, the board was looking like it was being swept Nw towards the shore but we weren't too sure.
Might be worth reporting it missing to coastguard or VMR, often people will phone them when they see something on the water out of place.
It's found!! A lovely couple found it in the mangroves and returned it to us. Thank you everyone for your help :)
