Jo finished the Palma World cup event today. She ended up 23/56 which was pretty good. The fleet were very strong with really only the Polish girls not there,
She got 3-4 top 20 finishes and today a 6th!! Max reports that she led the race until the final downwind when she gybed too early aaagh!
Yesterday was 25 knots and 2m seas - did ok in the first two and then was 6th in the final race before catapaulting and going head first through her sail - just another $1200 sighs Dad and Mum :(
They hit the road on Sunday up to Hyeres for the next one.
$1200 for a new head doesn't seem to bad a price.![]()
I was having a look at the regatta site last night, some of the videos were pretty crazy, the Nacra's look like they were getting hammered with sailors getting launched over the front.
Well done to Jo, let her know we are following her results.

Good to see an Aussie out there getting amongst it - well done
Tried to find the videos of the regatta you mentioned Cammd but no luck
Hi Morgan
Below is the website that has some videos of the racing.

The video of the Nacra's eating it was on facebook and I am to technologically disadvantaged to work out how to embed it here. Sorry.
