Jo is currently coming fifth overall in the ISAF World Cup being held in Weymouth/Portland.

You can follow her progress on her Facebook site here m.facebook.com/login.php?next=https%3A%2F%2Fm.facebook.com%2Fprofile.php%3Fid%3D730994550328895&refsrc=https%3A%2F%2Fm.facebook.com%2Fprofile.php&_rdr

Keep up the great work Jo, your making Queensland and Australia for that fact very proud.

Yeah agree she is really going great, taking it up to the best sailor's in the world and beating them. She is an inspiration, particularly to kids getting into the sport which despite all her training and travel she still finds time to coach voluntarily when home.

Hats off to Dave and Michele as well for providing the support to her. I know there is a million little details behind the scenes that need attention for Jo to be at her best at these regattas.

Also congrats to Max, Jo's coach her latest achievements reflect his skills as a coach and mentor and as a competitor he is currently cleaning up at the race board world's. He may sail under a polish flag but he is the Australian coach and thats enough for us to make a claim on him as one of our own.

Looks Like Jo ended up an impressive 7th overall finishing with a 7th in the Medal race to add to a 1st place in the opening race. Well done Jo!!!

I notice that Bryony Shaw won the event. She would have been bitterly disappointed to miss out on a medal at her home Olympics in 2012 but to stay on competing I'm guessing that would make her a dangerous competitor.

Jo actually still finished 5th overall - 7th in the medal race.

Flavia won overall. Bryony second.
