For those who haven't heard of this class, it is basically just a short raceboard up to 310 cm. The boards that fit in to this class are the Phantom 295, The Bic Techno 293 and Neil Pryde RS1. The RSX would also qualify.

Since we are now getting a fair number of these racing at Lake Cootharaba Sailing Club, we are planning to include them as a category the annual Raceboard state championships in May. We are setting a maximum sail size of 7.8m for this class.
These boards are great all round boards. They are easier to sail than the longer raceboards. More stable than the older raceboards.
Cheaper than the new raceboards. Very good starting point for all the windsurfing disciplines. They are also great for women or anyone who doesn't want to go to the bigger rigs.

Anyone interested in this class can contact me.
We have racing at the lake every Sunday - spare boards available.

Hi Drew,
Have you got your F2 Lightning yet?
A second option is just to have the 7.8m sail limit without restriction on length.
I hope you can join us for a few laps soon.
