Hello all, Brad here.
I have been a lurker on the site for a long time and have met one or two of you at Elanda over the last few years.
Would only be at Elanda, as sadly Cootharaba has been the only place I have sailed in the past too many years, and only once or twice a year at most.
I sailed a fair bit in the early 80's, although I never really progressed to any great level. I still love it on the rare occasions I am on the water. Although most of my time now is spent patching old gear or floating around waiting for the extra 5 knots I need to get up on the plane. Still better than being at work though.
Just been reading Morgan's posts on Cootharaba, and am wondering if there are going to many sailors left up there over the weekend?
We are heading up for a few days and seeing there are a few people there now, I thought it might be good to have a few others on the water for a change.
Hope to catch up with a few of you there.
Cheers, Brad.
Hi brad. 6 off us on the water this arvo, having a blast. Most staying till monday
Some of the windwander crew is going to be here over the WE also.
Looking forward to meeting you, we're down on the waterfront surrounded by windsurfing gear :-)
Cheers Jeff
Thanks for the replies Gents.
Good news that you will be there.
I have had a chat to you before I am pretty sure Jeff. We are friends of Kerry and Chris and camped behind you Guys at Easter I think.
Heading up in the morning and looking forward to some company on the water, although it looks a bit flat lined on the graph.
Still better than working for a living though.
Cheers, Brad.
Likewise Morgan.
Great to see so many keen sailors at the lake again.
Hopefully catch up again soon. In the mean time I will enjoy reading about your progression.
Cheers, Brad.
