Those that know , know ..and its green arrow season currently and will be for another month or two.
Anyone looking at heading up? ....there maybe some keen wind starved people heading that way late July/August.

Hey wasn't online - Ferry over daily or stay in the resort, resort is a bit $$$
Two compaineis have transfer vessels: Great Adventures and Big Cat Green Island Most Windsurfers and Kiters use Great Adventures for the early boat as their boats get to the island quicker (8:15 departure can arrive at 9:00)
Avoid the Big Cat full day as the boat is slowww - almost 1 and 1/2 hours to get there, Reef Rocket departs Cairns at 9:00 and is reasonably quick if you miss the 8:15 - 8:30 Great Adventures boat
Book transfer only tickets as they are slightly cheaper

"Luxury Escapes" do run some good packages for the resort 5 nights / 7 nights I think
Can you still get cheap weekly boat passes. I remember when I was a FNQ'er, a few Vic kitters used to come up, get a weekly pass and just stay at a backpacker joint.
Gaz use to do it properly...sail all day...miss the last boat...stay for a meal and crash in the board bag....sail all day again.
Haven't been up for a few years now will have to try and get back.
