Feel free to post here your interest to plan or join the next one when the conditions are good.

Beautiful trip ![]()
It could be nice if you could post your GPS track on KA72, so we could replay sailing trip in details.
Nice one
What was the wind strength, board and sail size.
I would have thought it would be hard to get out the sea way with the rock walls sheltering the wind.
Cheers

If you go with the tide going out, it's alright (big swell against the tide that day though). I tried a couple of times with the tide going in and failed both times.
Have done half of that upwind to Broadbeach and then down back again downwind on the Raceboard a few times. It's insane coming back.
You need to keep at eye out for the shark nets though especially when it's choppy as it's hard to work out where the gaps are sometimes when you're moving fast. Sailing out the Seaway and even coming in can be hairy. But it's sketchy upwind against the tide when you're getting smothered by the Seaway wall in a SE.
Frrkkkk that's a big one!
I had a fun blast out the back of Currumbin (aka dont sail close to shore cos there's no fkn wind!) this arvo, really pretty with the mountain back drop , surfers P up the top,, nice swells out the back, stayed away from the pointvwave as 100 punters trying to Catch it... nice waves though!
keen to do a Dw in a SE I'm down this way working next few weeks.
Looks awesome. I would love to take my raceboard out for a blast in that area. Might need a bit more practice first but looks great. No Jetskis to look out for!
