That's two days in row that the forecast has been utterly dismal but the wind turned up anyway.
Yesterday's was a northeaster. Today's was a southeaster.
The thing they had in common was expected storms that didn't turn up until very late.

I guess if there's a chance of a thermal you just have to watch the graphs as the wind comes, or doesn't.

yeah, another un forecasted solid 15-20knot blow here on the northern end of the gc

if you are fortunate enough to be able to leave work at the drop of a hat, it's been a great season for wind

Same here at Manly. A beaut 15-20 knot SE in the arvo.
