Our group of Broadwater Windsurfers and Kiters have been increasingly frustrated by the number of illegally moored boats in our safest windsurfing area over the last few years. As our area has been reduced in size due to the new Broadwater Parklands there is simply not enough room anymore. Many complaints have been made to GCWWA but they rarely follow through with their monitoring. Most boaties obey the mooring rules but many are just plain ignorant. I contacted the Australian Live Aboard Association and they have kindly posted details of the extent of areas frequently sailed by our group on FB. So please share, comment, delete or what ever. But please be polite

Great work Tony.
I have some questions:
How long can you anchor a boat on the Broadwater on a visit?
How long can you live on a moored boat on the Broadwater? (not at a Marina)
How often do you have empty the bilge tank out at sea?
Is there any other regulations in regards to waste disposal from moored boats?
Who polices this?
1. 7 days in the same spot
2. till you die
3. when its full
4. empty them at a waste station
5. public servants
