Does anyone have a recommendation for a board repairer in Brisbane area. Was referred to GC Surfcraft repairs but he has closed down unfortunately...

Jason I had my board repaired when I was up there last year. ( Damaged it before I went and didn't have time to get fixed ) The guy lived in Manly West. Had his mobile number in my old phone but it died. He did a good job.
Might be him in one of the above links, however did state he was thinking of moving to Adelaide as his wife was from here ![]()
Got onto Brisbane Board Repair up at Clontarf. Quote was better than expected even offered to pick up board from work in city as he travels through
will report back with before and after pics
That's Ed Doolan, our loss, your gain. Jayson I'm keen (no pun intended) to see how it goes with the guy in Clontarf
Thanks for the top tip Jayson, I've just dropped my board off to him with a pulled out rear footstrap plug and got him to give it a bit of a makeover. I gee'd him up to keep going because there's a big gap between the GC and Sunshine Cost with no-one fixing boards. He reckons he also might start making some custom boards too which is a bit of a flashback to yesteryear.
Hi guys.
Mitch Stephenson from Brisbane board repairs here. Thanks for the plug. Keen to get boards back out on the water. Im located 6/27 Huntington st Clontarf. I live in the city however so picking up boards is usually not a problem.
I am operating under:
www.brisbaneboardrepairs.com for all the board repairs, carbon/fiberglass repairs ect
www.thecarbonco.net for the foil gear/kite gear i have been producing - i will endevour to develop some sailboard gear in the very near future as it is the roots of my love for riding boards in general.
The easiest way to go is to text a pic of the damage to 0437557077 and then i can have a look.
Cheers,
Mitch.
Mitch did a great Job. Kept me informed all the way and delivered on time.
Put my knee into it during gumby gybe![]()

Finished job, nice and neat. Colour match is not easy, Starboard don't share paint recipe.
Next project is to get Mitch to spruce this one up, just need to get wave sail from SImon after he cleans up at that silly Auction![]()

I went down and grabbed mine today too Jayson. Mitch did a great job of the tail on my board, the footstrap plugs had started pulling out and it was all waterlogged in there and there's timber that got soggy too it was all a bit messy. I got him to regrip it as well because I've had it for a few years now and it got a bit slippery. I'm pretty happy with Mitch's service and it was a good price for the amount of work that needed to be done.
