Bayside Sailboards gets ready for a new Season..

First of all thanks to all the people that have put time in last year to keep the club going even though the wind gods did not smile upon us…
The new faces are
President – Simon Cunliffe
Vice — Simon Jenns
Treasurer – Paul Bryant
Secretary – Tony Louff
Race Director – Simon Fyfe
Social director – Leo Sharpe

Membership
A new social membership – $40 this give you 24/7 insurance cover (but no racing in bayside events )
Last years members can renew at cost of only $40 for the year (discount for lack of events last year).

Racing
To be held on Sundays,
starting September Some new events.
A Endurance race at Wynnum details to follow
Down winder most likely Wynnum to Manly details to follow
As well as normal slalom days
Looks like we will have Jet Skis at most events as rescue craft
Gps A New Moreton Bay Gps comp to start .. Details to Follow

There has also been lots of discussion around social events to promote windsurfing plus you can still come along to race meets and watch the action, grab a snag and have a chat.
