Hey Everyone,
The start of the season is nearly here, so a bit of an update! We will be hosting the Season Open Day this Sunday at the end of Davenport Drive. Kick off at 12 midday and depending on forecast we will be doing a number of shore-based activities (gybe clinic, foil vs fin discussions and potential new course format), maybe even a BBQ! If the wind allows, we may run some fun races to get everyone back into it.
The first actual racing day will be on Sunday 4th September, reoccurring roughly every fortnight. The full season schedule will be posted this weekend.
The big announcement from this years AGM is that we will be combining fin and foil on the course for the coming season! As a result, helmets will be mandatory for all racers, so if you haven't got one yet, please do. AGM minutes to follow.
The second big announcement is that we are planning a Bayside away trip to the NSW Slalom States on 2-4th December. More details to follow.
There are also some big changes to the website, email and automation of membership confirmations all happening in the back ground so please bear with us. If you need a membership receipt, please drop us a message on our Facebook page inbox.
